City of Herne, Pond

Fish die-offs and odor problems don’t happen suddenly; they announce themselves in advance. That is why the City of Herne monitors its duck pond around the clock with real-time data, spotting critical developments before they become a problem.

Dissolved oxygen, temperature, pH, and redox are measured continuously and transmitted via the city’s LoRaWAN network to VUE.RX. When readings reach critical levels, the system automatically triggers a notification, early enough to respond. The complete measurement history is available at any time for documentation and communication with authorities. This turns reactive water management into proactive monitoring.

Bürstadt & Lampertheim

Two municipalities, four bodies of water, one day of deployment. Since May 2026, Bürstadt and Lampertheim have been monitoring their urban waters around the clock, with real-time data straight from the water.

ZG Raiffeisen, Green Wall

A large-format green wall depends on the right substrate moisture. Too dry and the planting dies; too wet and it dies just the same. Five sensors and a weather station provide the basis for irrigation that always matches actual demand.

Bremen Morgenstadt

Young trees in an urban district need water, but neither too much nor too little. In Bremen Morgenstadt, a fully automated system takes care of this: the sensors measure soil moisture, VUE.RX links the readings with the weather conditions, and irrigation is triggered exactly as needed.
